Our organization conducted a comprehensive assessment of the needs of affected families by actively collaborating with local community organizations, churches, and corporations, as well as through direct conversations with over two dozen families impacted by the crisis.

Through this intentional engagement, it became clear that the needs of these families extend far beyond immediate necessities such as hygiene products, clothing, and emergency supplies. Many individuals are grappling with profound emotional distress and trauma, underscoring an urgent need for mental health services, professional counseling, and therapeutic support for both adults and children.

In response, we are offering community-based counseling services and partnering with programs such as the “Promotoras” Community Workers/Nurses initiative to facilitate support groups and health-related outreach. These efforts provide a compassionate and faith-rooted space where individuals can share their experiences, exchange hope, and begin their journey of healing.

Our organization ensures that each support group is equipped with all necessary supplies, creating a safe and welcoming environment for participants. In addition, we sponsor therapeutic sessions as identified by a dedicated team of Christian counselors, offering families personalized care tailored to their emotional and spiritual needs.

In the immediate aftermath of the crisis, we also contributed to the recovery process by sponsoring equipment and resources for cleanup efforts. This practical support allowed families to begin restoring their homes and communities, while easing some of the financial strain they faced during this difficult season.

Together, these initiatives reflect our unwavering commitment to walk alongside families—not only in their moment of crisis but throughout their path to restoration, healing, and long-term wellbeing. Through this holistic approach, we continue to embody the message of hope, compassion, and renewal in the midst of adversity.
